Arrival in Guangzhou
Arrive at Guangzhou airport. Private transfer (driver only, no guide) takes you to your hotel. After check‑in, enjoy free time to explore Jiangnanxi district and Wanhao Outlets for a taste of local Lingnan city life.
Guangzhou City Tour & Pearl River Night Cruise
Morning: Photo stop at Canton Tower (tower admission at your own expense). Visit Chen Clan Academy to admire exquisite Lingnan carvings.
Afternoon: Stroll through Shamian Island, Yongqing Fang and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street. Join an included Cantonese Embroidery handicraft workshop and create your own Lingnan‑style souvenir.
Evening: Enjoy the included Pearl River night cruise to view Guangzhou’s illuminated skyline.
High-Speed Train to Guilin & Elephant Trunk Hill
Check out and transfer with your guide to Guangzhou South Railway Station. Board the second-class G2902 high-speed train to Guilin North Railway Station. Upon arrival, take a private transfer to your hotel and complete check-in. Later, visit Elephant Trunk Hill Park beside the Li River. Its distinctive elephant-shaped rock formation has become one of Guilin’s best-known natural landmarks.
Li River Cruise, Xingping & Yangshuo
Morning: Board the included Li River essential‑section cruise. Enjoy views of Nine‑Horse Mural Hill and Yellow Cloth Reflection.
Afternoon: Disembark at Xingping Ancient Town and walk to the 20‑yuan banknote viewpoint. Then transfer privately to Yangshuo, check in to your hotel, and enjoy free time to explore West Street.
Evening: Savour an included signature dinner: Yangshuo Beer Fish local feast.
Yulong River, Countryside Cycling & Impression Liu Sanjie
Morning: Explore the Yulong River area. Cycle along Ten‑Mile Gallery (bicycle rental included), passing Moon Hill, Big Banyan Tree and Butterfly Spring.
Afternoon: Visit Silver Cave.
Evening: Attend the outdoor Impression Liu Sanjie show with regular‑seat ticket.
Note: This is an open‑air performance and may be cancelled in heavy rain or thunderstorms; no shows run during winter low‑season. Refund or alternative will be offered.
High-Speed Train to Kunming
Leave your Yangshuo hotel early and travel by private vehicle to Guilin North Railway Station. Board the second-class D3949 high-speed train to Kunming Station. Upon arrival, meet your driver or local staff for a private transfer to the hotel. After check-in, enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure or visit Nanping Pedestrian Street independently.
Stone Forest & Jiuxiang Scenic Area
Morning: Visit Stone Forest, a spectacular karst formation.
Afternoon: Continue to Jiuxiang Scenic Area to explore massive underground limestone caves with stalactites and underground rivers.
Note: Jiuxiang involves many steps and staircases – not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Dian Lake, Yunnan Ethnic Village & Western Hills
Morning: Leisure time by Dian Lake – look out for red‑billed gulls (seasonal, November–March). Explore Yunnan Ethnic Village and join an included ethnic tie‑dye handicraft workshop to create your own artwork.
Afternoon: Visit Western Hills Forest Park for panoramic views over Dian Lake.
Note: Red‑billed gulls cannot be guaranteed outside November–March.
Cuihu Park, Guandu, Haigeng Dam & Dounan Flower Market
Morning: Stroll through Cuihu Park and wander Guandu Ancient Town.
Afternoon: Take in views at Haigeng Dam, then explore Dounan Flower Market – Asia’s largest fresh‑cut flower market.
Evening: Enjoy an included signature dinner: Yunnan Cross‑Bridge Rice Noodle feast.
Departure from Kunming
Enjoy free time for souvenir shopping at Dounan Flower Market or Nanping Pedestrian Street. At the agreed time, meet your driver for a private transfer to Kunming airport, arriving approximately three hours before your flight. The exact pick-up time will be arranged according to the confirmed flight schedule and expected road conditions. Your 10-day journey through Guangzhou, Guilin, Yangshuo and Kunming concludes at the airport.
Journey Inclusions & Exclusions
- Transportation: Private ground transportation throughout the itinerary, including airport and railway-station pick-up and drop-off, sightseeing transfers and inter-city road transfers.
- Guide Service: On transfer days, you will be provided with a Chinese-speaking driver plus online English-language support. An English-speaking tour guide will accompany you on sightseeing days.
- Entrance Tickets & Included Experiences:
- Guangzhou: Chen Clan Academy and Pearl River night cruise.
- Guilin and Yangshuo: Elephant Trunk Hill Park, Li River Essential Section Cruise, Xingping Ancient Town, Ten-Mile Gallery bicycle rental and Impression Liu Sanjie regular-seat ticket. The performance is subject to seasonal operation and weather conditions. If cancelled, the ticket cost will be refunded or an equivalent activity will be arranged.
- Kunming: Stone Forest Scenic Area, Jiuxiang Scenic Area, Dian Lake, Yunnan Ethnic Village, Western Hills Forest Park, Cuihu Park and Guandu Ancient Town.
- Accommodation: Nine nights in three-star hotels, based on double occupancy: Guangzhou 2 nights, Guilin 1 night, Yangshuo 2 nights and Kunming 4 nights.
- Meals: Daily hotel breakfast as specified in the itinerary.
